What is going on here?
We are digging a trench, 50 meters long and 1.6 meters deep.
There will be eight pipes in the trench, four at the bottom, and the other four just one meter below the surface.

In the trench we are putting pipes, to collect heat from the ground, to heat the house. There will be eight pipes in the trench, four at the bottom, and the other four just one meter below the surface. |

The pipes are filled with glycol solution. |
|

The pipes are all now buried in the garden. Here are the ends of the pipes, waiting to be connected to a heat pump. |
